Tim and I made a colorful tutti frutti pineapple bowl this week. We had temperatures over 35 degrees, so this kind of food is perfect for this weather.
I think pineapple is the perfect dish for hot weather. This week we thought we try to create a hearty version of an pineapple dish. Paired with some nice vegetables it’s a great meal which doesn’t only look nice great, it also tastes amazing.
As you already noticed in the last days, Tim and I are very into Bowls right now. We could eat it every day and there are so many versions and kinds to try.
So now let’s introduce you to our latest one. The pineapple tutti frutti bowl.
All you need is the following ingredients:
- 1 Pineapple
- 1 Paprika
- 250 gr. Rice
- 1 Can of Chickpeas
- Paprika Powder , Pepper and Salt
- Snow Peas
- Pomegranate Seeds
- Cherry Tomatoes
First cut the pineapple and prepare it. Please watch out that you don’t destroy the pineapple so you can still use it for decoration afterwards. The next step is the preparation of the chickpeas. Wash them and put them on a kitchen paper/tissue to dry tem. Afterwards put some oil in a casserole and roll the chickpeas in it and put some pepper, salt and paprika. Roast them for around 25 minutes and 200 degrees.
After that cook the rice as written on the package and fry the vegetables in a pan. At the end just give all the items in the pineapple and decorate it nicely.
