Today we would love to show you a very nice and quick quinoa salad recipe.
After we came back from the gym last week, Tim and I were super hungry but didn’t had something prepared for dinner. So we looked into our cupboard and found some quinoa we bought back in Germany when we went there for a visit last time. We actually bought a lot because it’s really cheap there. The quinoa is only around 2,50 EUR for a whole pack. Here it’s much more expensive and you can barely afford it.
So yes, we wanted to sit on the balcony have some wine and enjoy the evening outside. We decided to go for something cold and yummy and the outcome was our yummy quinoa salad.
We paired it together with some grapes and other vegetables and in the end it was a lovely dish.
Ingredients:
- Quinoa, depends on how hungry you are
- Olive oil
- 4 Grapes
- 1 Carrot
- 5 Cherry tomatoes
- 2 Leaves bok choy
- Salt
- Pepper
Steps:
Before you start to cook, wash the quinoa using a strainer. Afterwards, you can start to cook it as it’s mentioned in the instructions.
In the meanwhile you can already chop the vegetables and roast them in a pan. As soon the quinoa is ready you can stir all together into a vessel, put some oil in it and some spices and decorate it with the grapes.
I really love the Quinoa Salad because of the combination of something salty and sweet. Its really yummy!
My personal recommendation is to enjoy this easy, delicious dish with a chardonnay and an avo bread on the side.
