We love to do things by ourselves. Not only cooking and baking, also arts and crafts for our wedding. So it was clear from the beginning that we do a lot of DIY stuff for our dream day. Especially the decoration is much more lovely if you create and design it with your own hands.

We really wanted to have a decoration which fits to us. Tim and Julia. Herr und Frau Hue.
We are young, totally in love with each other and actually really normal and simple people from the countryside. So it was really important for us, to have a decoration which is kinda easy and has a lot of elements from the nature and many beautiful flowers.

Lets start with our menu
We easily printed the menu cards and sticked them into beautiful vintage, papeterie cards from amazing Fräulein K sagt Ja. Who didn’t know that shop already should check it out immediately, so you don’t miss the great things she offers there.

Also the wooden signs where we wrote the menu on, were as well created and built by my mums partner. He made it himself and my friend Christina and I colored it afterwards. They were really easy to make and look so beautiful.

Guest Book and Guest Gifts

Regarding the Guest Book we also ordered it at the Shop of Fräulein K and gave some Polaroid Cameras to our guests, so they could take pictures of themselves, stick them into the guest book and write something nice next to it. We were really happy about this afterwards, as it made us so happy to read trough all these amazing quotes a few days after the wedding.

The decoration at church and the table flower bouquet
was organized by my auntie Ilka. She made some little paper thingies with my little godchild Finja and put the flowers into it, to hang it up in the church and decorate the benches. It was very lovely and looked great.
The table decoration was also quiet simple, as we just got some fresh flowers from our neighbors garden and put them into a simple vase, so it looked fresh and smelled like spring.

Also my flower crown was created by my auntie. She made such a nice and beautiful flower decoration out of some small white flowers. It was exactly what I wanted and I felt like a little Hippie-princess. Thanks so much <3 Inspiration
