Grape & Cheese Nights at Jones the Grocer

If you are a cheese and grape lover you should check out Jones the Grocer’s new grape & cheese evenings. They are happening every Thursday from 7 pm to 11 pm across all outlets in Abu Dhabi. Tim and I checked out the branch in Al Muneera and we are happy to tell you that it’s definitely worth to give it a try!

So what we already love about Jones is that the atmosphere is always chille and nice. No need to dress up crazily or to come with high heels. In my opinion it’s a super nice place to hang out with friends for lunch and dinner and enjoy tasty dishes.
The same counts for their “Grape & Cheese Nights”. Tim and I think this is a super chilled start into the weekend. Enjoy unlimited grape & cheese from AED 199 across all Abu Dhabi stores – means in Mamoura, Khalidiyah and Al Raha Beach aka Al Muneera every Thursday from 7 pm – 11 pm.

Tim had a Sauvignon Blanc and I tried the Shiraz, both were really good and the service was friendly as always. The same for the different kind of cheese. The waiter always explained us the differences and where the cheese was from. Very helpful. Especially for Tim as he usually doesn’t eat cheese (beside on a pizza or lasagna). However also he tried all the different cheeses and he loved it!
Oh and another thing I definitely should mention: The portions are quite big, so definitely no need for dinner before this πŸ™‚

To celebrate the launch of grape & cheese nights, Jones the Grocer hosted already a special cheese and grape pairing session with cheese guru and retail manager, Oliver Sutton, in their flagship store in Mamoura on 12th of April this year. Unfortunately we missed this one but were very happy to go and check out the branch in Al Muneera and really enjoyed the evening – good we live around the corner.

So here are the facts:
+ always great service
+ nice and relaxed atmosphere
+ great cheeses
+ wine was not superlative but good

Time: 7 pm to 11 pm
Cost: AED 199 (unlimited cheese and grape package)

Location: Mamoura, Khalidiyah, Al Raha (Al Muneera)
